If you haven't heard the bad (and sad) news- we were informed our rent would be doubling or we would have to move on 9/11/2012. The residents unanimously voted we could not afford to pay more than we were, so we had to leave. We tried to convince the City of Fayetteville and the Downtown Development Authority to help by either buying the building or supplementing the rent in order for this area to continue to have an Art Center. But with negative economics affecting us all, we now have become a "virtual" Fayette County Art Center. I'm now teaching out of my home studio
