Call for Student Art!

Special Exhibits to be held in new Student Gallery through May for youths aged 12 to 18.  Any youth living in the South Metro area is invited to particiapte.  

 March:  Drawings in Charcoal, Graphite, Pen and Ink  

Deadline is Feb. 27th.  Work must be framed and have hanging wire.  Outside dimensions not to exceed 16 x 20 inches. $15.00 entry fee for 3 pieces.  20-30 works will be juried in. Works will be exhibited for a month. Judges will be looking at use of line, shading, and composition. Cash and gift-card awards, plus !st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention Award Certificates for portfolios.  Winners will also be posted on website.

 April: Digital Art - Digital Drawing & Digital Photography   

Deadline is March 26th.  Work must be framed, matted and have hanging wire. Outside dimensions not to exceed 16 x 20 inches. $15.00 entry fee for 3 pieces.  20-30 works will be juried in. Works will be exhibited for a month. Judges will be looking at mastery of Photo Shop and the Digital Drawing Tablet, composition and use of color. Cash and gift-card awards, plus Award Certificates for portfolios.  Winners will also be posted on website.

   May:  Painting  - Oil, Acrylic and Watercolor  

 Deadline is April 24th. Work must be framed, matted and have hanging wire. Outside dimensions not to exceed 16 x 20 inches. $15.00 entry fee for 3 pieces.  20-30 works will be juried in. Works will be exhibited for a month. Judges will be looking at  use of value, compostion and technique. Cash and gift-card awards, plus Award Certificates for portfolios.  Winners will also be posted on website.
