PAINTING CLASS: OIL, ACRYLIC, OR PASTEL with Kathaleen Brewer Tuesday morning: 10:00-12:00 Wednesday evening: 6:30-8:30 Tuesday evening: 6:30-8:30 – NEW! Classes are ONGOING with no start-stop date as Kathaleen works on an individual basis with each student depending on their level and interest. Beginners welcome!! These classes cover the fundamental basics and techniques of painting mainly in oil, in addition to acrylic and pastel. For beginners there is discussion about brushes, canvases and mediums. You will also learn the basics of composition, color and placing images on paper plus shading and light. For intermediate and advance students you will develop your own voice and progress in your skills. Class size is 4-8 students. $35 drop-in fee if taking one class at a time. $100/4 classes plus $20 material fee if you don’t have your own supplies. Contact: Kathaleenbrewer@comcast.net
WATERCOLOR PAINTING with Judy Huang Tues. 1:00-3:00 PM This class is suitable for beginners and intermediate painters. Learn methods of washes, layering, etc. Students are encouraged to expand their repertoire and exchange their experiences with each other. DRAWING CLASS with Judy Huang. Tuesday: 3:00-4:00 PM You can’t produce a good painting without understanding basic drawing principles. Learn to draw what you see using charcoal, graphite and pencils. PORTRAIT PAINTING & DRAWING with JASON ZAMPOL Thursday evening: 6:00-8:30 pm This is a great opportunity to learn the traditional master’s method of painting portraits in oil. Jason has done many commissioned portraits and will be exhibiting his work this month in the main gallery. $120/4 classes. Adults and teens welcome.
DIGITAL DRAWING – with JASON ZAMPOL MFA During the summer: THURSDAYS 3:00 – 4:30 pm – Outside of Art Camp Jason has a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and works as an illustrator for movies and video games. Jason will cover basic drawing skills and provide your child a head start learning Photo Shop and breaking into graphic art. Students should bring a laptop. Summer Art Camps
Ages 6-9 MONDAYS 1 1/2 hr. classes (11:30 until 5:30 ) Fee: $60/child per session, includes supplies . Your child will learn drawing and painting plus make a room decor object.
